Coffee First Limited has established a special relationship with the coffee farmers in the State of Sao Paulo in order to bring their coffee to the U.K. market as a finished product. We analyse and test the farmers’ coffee in Brazil to ensure it meets our quality standards. When it does we arrange to buy their harvest at a higher price than they would normally receive on the international market. However, this does not lead to higher prices for the consumer because we process and package the coffee in our roasting facility in Brazil. This means there are no middle men, the coffee is exceptionally fresh and its smooth flavour is achieved by using mainly ripe (red) coffee beans and not the green coffee beans which increase acidity.

Our coffee has been tested by the Government’s Central Science laboratory in York (DEFRA) and no pesticides or harmful elements were found. This reflects on the traditional farming methods used by the Brazilian coffee farmers and a copy of the report can be found by clicking on the images below.

We have invested in the state of the art packaging machine in Brazil which will produce up to 15 different types of packages, however, we are initially producing 500g and 1 Kg packets of roast beans which can be boxed to provide 24 kgs for commercial customers.
